The list of things ( related to grammar and writing) I suggest revising!

1. Make sure that you know how to cite sources in the APA style
1a. Look at the list of words used in in-text citation
2.Look at all the papers that I graded in the first and second semesters! Read all the critiques and comments. Pay attention to all the underlined errors so you know what types of errors you have to avoid or you are prone to make in your writing!
3.Revise your grammar
I have noticed that the most common errors are:
-lack of subject verb agreement
-pronoun errors
-mistakes in apostrophe usage
-wrong word order
-comma splices

-its vs.it's
-who vs.which
-who vs whom
-irregular verbs
-lack of hyphens
-Few/ a few and little/a little
-was vs were
-much vs many
-less vs fewer

4.Revise punctuation
-use of capital letters
-punctuation signs
5.Make sure that you know the difference between an article and a personal text (look at the handout entitled- your writing guide)
6.Look at the list of linking words
7.Make sure that you have iFinger or any other dictionary installed on your computer. Bring a paperback dictionary/collocation dictionary/ thesaurus during the real exam.
8.During the exam, please be aware of your time management. Plan out your time allocation to each question and stick to that plan!!
9.Read the question at least twice to make sure you understand what the question requires ,and, make sure you fulfill all the requirements of the question within the time you allocate to that question.
10.Please look at the assessment criteria. ( Vurderingskriterier i skriftlig engelsk)
